I’m quite happy today. I relaxed in the bath, and then stuffed my face with beef & broccoli and rice. Would you like some? (✿◠‿◠)

The food smelled and looked wonderful as always.  It was undeniable that each of his ‘sibings’—if that was what they should be called—made the best food.  Taking a piece of broccoli between his chopsticks, he began to slowly eat.  As expected, Mei had seasoned it with just the right amount of everything.  ”It is delicious, as your food always is.  Thank you very much, Mei-chan.”  He would have to make her some nikujaga next time she was at his place as a thank you.  It was only courteous, of course.

Mei’s eyes lit up, and she grinned at him, smiling proudly.

“You like it? I can’t cook as well as Sue can, but I have been practicing~ Don’t be surprised when I ask you to taste something else later, ‘kay? You can be my taste-tester! …If it’s okay, that is.”
