It’s done~!! I’d always wanted to do the pixiv hairstyle meme, but with cosplay. So I got off my lazy butt and did it because I was on a Taiwan high. I dunno why I didn’t put my circle lenses in, though. But the results were still ok~~ The short and long ones were my favorite uvu

relationship headcanon: vietnam

um, so, firstly, I haven’t done much research on rl Taiwanese-Vietnamese history/relations, so this is basically a lot of headcanon based on how they interact in the comic/fanon.

Using nation names here because I honestly don’t know what name to give Vietnam.

Vietnam and Taiwan are pretty close as you would expect them to be, considering they’re the only Asian females (for now, this may change should Himaruya introduce more).

Obviously Taiwan is more outgoing and Vietnam is more serious. They balance each other out pretty well, Taiwan getting Vietnam to do (and enjoy) things she wouldn’t normally care for like camwhoreing and such. Taiwan loves to take them to purikura/photobooths!! Vietnam doesn’t mind it but it’s not something she would do without Taiwan.

I don’t particularly like the idea that Vietnam is basically not girly/fashionable without Taiwan, so I will say I think Vietnam is just a different type of fashionable than Taiwan. Taiwan goes for more cute, Vietnam for more classy. Together they are a formidable pair of ladies. ;D Ohoho.

Sometimes Taiwan’s enthusiastic-ness tires Vietnam out, while Vietnam’s serious-ness sometimes makes Taiwan all pouty like/makes her wonder if she’s even having any fun boo hoo hoo.

The relationship aspect is something similar to close friends or close sisters/cousins. (I do not [and never will] think of them together romantically.) If you’ve seen Kaichou wa Maid-sama, think Sakura and Shizuko-esque. Vietnam commonly brings Taiwan “back to earth” when she is.. being unreasonable or something similar. :’3

Touch Your Heart by Fahrenheit?? I know it’s really predictable but I think she would feel… fluffy! And loved! Also she really loves Fahrenheit l-lol.

I don’t really know enough to elaborate and choose one, but I can make a list of things that might be considered…???

Certain (certain) events in WWII. Like the Japanese forcing Taiwanese men into the Japanese military and using Taiwanese women as comfort women. Hnn.
Any large instance of the aborigines being abused and or prejudiced against.
The Chinese Civil War… it was for a cause I guess but Taiwan doesn’t like being involved in any kind of war. >:
Any/all of the 1 2 3 strait crises, dammit. >__>; Especially those.
Certain extremely scary and huge and damaging natural disasters ; v ; Like that typhoon before…
